Cat 6 Data Cable – Enhanced Performance for 1G/10G Ethernet
Category 6 is a four-pair twisted-pair Ethernet cable designed for 1 Gbps to 100 m and 10GBASE-T to 55 m (channel, typical). Constructions include 23/24 AWG solid bare copper, U/UTP or shielded variants, and jacket ratings CM/CMR/CMP. Many Cat 6 designs feature a cross-filler/spline for crosstalk control. PoE/PoE+/PoE++ capability depends on item spec (see datasheet).
