Wire Speed-Pulls (Bundled Home-Run Assemblies)

Overview

Save time and labor on the jobsite with wire speed-pulls from International Wire & Cable. We build custom bundled “home-run” pulls that route multiple conductors in one pass—reducing setup, minimizing splices, and delivering clean, labeled terminations.

Bundles are tailored to your print: conductor types and gauges, laced or taped binds, labeled breakouts, and sequential footage for quick ID and layout.

Taped Bundles with Breakouts

Home-run assemblies lay in once, then break out to devices or panels along the run.

What We Can Bundle

  • Hook-up & building wire (e.g., MTW, THHN, GPT by review)
  • Low-voltage & control conductors
  • Mixed gauges and colors for easy circuit ID
  • Optional pulling grips or leader tails

We’ll validate conduit fill and bundle OD targets during quoting.

Identification & Marking

  • Sequential footage markings on bundle or members
  • Breakout labels (panel/room/circuit), sleeve or wrap
  • Custom printing/legends for circuits
  • Color-coding and phase ID options

For pre-dyed members, specify silver-oxide ink for durable legends.

Standard Speed-Pull Capabilities

Parameter Typical
Members 2–12 conductors (more by review)
Bind Styles Laced, taped, or binder wrap at set intervals
Breakouts Pre-labeled locations along run; sleeve/wrap IDs
Footage Marks Sequential on bundle or individual conductors
Put-ups Reels (recommended), coils by review
Quality Uniform bind spacing, verified member list, visual inspection per lot

Installer Notes

  • Confirm pull tension and minimum bend radius for the largest member.
  • Verify conduit fill before ordering; share route length and bend count.
  • Request leader/grip if pulling through long or complex runs.

What to Include in Your RFQ

  • List of conductors (type, gauge, color, quantity of each)
  • Target bundle OD or conduit size/fill goal
  • Bind style & spacing (laced/taped/binder)
  • Breakout locations & label text format
  • Sequential footage requirements
  • Put-up (reel/coil) and total footage

FAQs

What’s the main benefit of speed-pulls?
Multiple conductors are routed in one pass, cutting install time, reducing splices, and improving labeling consistency.
Can you print circuit IDs and footage?
Yes—choose break-out labels and sequential footage on the bundle or members for fast identification.
Do you support mixed gauges and colors?
Yes. We can bundle mixed gauges and colors as specified for clear circuit ID and phase marking.
How are speed-pulls packaged?
Reels are recommended for tangle-free deployment. Coils may be available by review depending on bundle size and length.
